U10 Division Information

The U10 Division is a combined division of U9 and U10, with ages for this division following the National mandate of Birthyear Registration.  (Click here for the birth year matrix) Players ages 7- 9 will be placed on teams and compete in friendly small sided games against teams from Madison Heights and other neighboring clubs.   This division begins to transition players closer to full sided games, 

Cost:

The cost of this program and age division, is currently $65, plus any applicable Uniform Cost.  (See below)

Games:

The format of our U10 Division uses small sided games in a 7v7 format with a goal keeper.  The Game schedule is typically released a week or two prior to the season starting.

Practices:

Practice schedules are determined the individual coach, and vary from team to team.  Each team will hold 1 - 2 practices per week, with the practices lasting 45-60 minutes in length.  Each team will hold their practices at a local park / field (NO TEAM PRACTICES WILL BE HELD AT THE COMPLEX.)
 

Uniform:

Our U10 Division requires a uniform kit.  Participants are required to have the Home (blue) and Away (yellow) jersey as dictated by the game schedule.  Current cost for Uniforms is $45, and we do not require players to refresh their kit unless it is outgrown, or no longer in good repair.

When:

Games are held Saturdays and Sundays running at approximately 55 minutes (2x 25 minute halves with a 5 minute halftime)

Where:

Games for the U10 Division are held at our Red Oaks Soccer Complex, as well as neighboring parks (Royal Oak, Ferndale, Clawson, etc)

What equipment do I need:

Players will need to wear cleats, and Shin guards (WORN UNDER SOCKS) for games and practices.
Bring a size 4 ball and water bottle to each game and practice.
