When will I hear from a coach?
A coach should contact a parent/guardian of each player on their team within 1 week after the coach meeting.
When is the coach meeting?
The coaching meeting is setup by the commissioner of the league. The meeting usually takes place about 1 month before the 1st game of the season. At this meeting is where the coach receives the information about their team. Also, this meeting covers divisional rules and procedures and general information. This is a mandatory meeting for coaches.
Where can I hold practice?
MHYSA has to have insurance on all fields where practices and games are played. Do not practice on a field if it is not on the Approved Practice & Game Locations list. If the practice location is not listed on the Approved Practice & Game Locations list you must contact the club president to get permission to use that location for practice.
