WELCOME TO THE MHYSA FALL
2012 SEASON!!!
We are just days away from the official start of the Fall 2012
season and we have all kinds of information to share with you about
our upcoming season and events. There are games to be played and
names to be made, so grab the family calendar and let's get down to
business!
Uniform Pick Up - Wednesday,
September 5th 6:30pm -9pm

If
you have not yet purchased the required uniform you can do so at
this time. The uniform cost is $45, cash or check only if
purchasing onsite. If you will not be able to come and
pick up your uniform(s) this Wednesday please contact your child's
coach to make other arrangements.
* Any outstanding registration/uniform dues
will be collected at the uniform pick up event.

Come
out and help us kick off the MHYSA Fall 2012 season on Thursday,
September 6th! Meet
the board members, coaches, volunteers and parents that make this
organization so much more than just a soccer club. Enjoy snacks and
treats while you mingle and your children are busy testing their
soccer skills for prizes.
For
this evening, we are VERY excited about teaming up with Elder Ford
Troy to host …
With
the help of iSoccer, the Nation's premier online skills assessment
tool, they have developed these fun and exciting challenges to
allow youth players to show off, compete and improve their skills
and get them on track to becoming a better soccer
athlete!
Registered
participants will receive a complimentary 2-month premium plus
membership to iSoccer and the first 50 participants onsite will
receive a Ford Escape Soccer Skills Challenge T-Shirt. Six Winners
ages 8-13 (one from each gender/age group division) will be invited
to attend the Regional Finals in Fall 2012.
Participation
in the Ford Escape Soccer Skills Challenge is FREE and it
takes just a few minutes to sign up.
Parents
will also be automatically entered for a chance to WIN A 2-YEAR
LEASE of a 2013 Ford Escape!

help support our Madison Heights Select youth soccer club by
raising money through your purchases at Texas Roadhouse one night
only, just steps from our complex. Make sure your little
Challengers are up for showing us those skills with a healthy meal
before they get to work. Or take the family out for a great dinner
or dessert following the evening's events.
Simply print
out thie coupon below and give it to your server; Texas
Roadhouse will donate 10% of your entire check to EXPRESS FC to
assist in the training and development of our Select soccer club.
No participation in the Opening Night event is necessary to use the
fundraising coupons - but presenting the coupon is necessary for
the teams to receive the 10% donation. 
If
you forget to bring a coupon with you, we will have printed copies
available at the soccer complex, just stop by and pick one
up.

schedules. If you have any questions about the schedules
or locations, your coach will be able to help get you to the right
field at the right time - just ask :)

arrive at the Complex a little before 10am next Saturday (9/8/2012)
so we can get the kids checked in. Kids should wear shin guards and
cleats (if they have them).
What to
expect…
Parents or
an adult, when you come to the complex please be ready to help with
your child with the activities. A typical session lasts about 30 to
40 minutes and consists of each player with a ball and fun
activities (parents and their kids). There will be not be a "game"
but there will be time at the end of the session for "Fun Time"
where the kids can run around and shoot on the big and small goals,
play around the cones, and interact with their TOT-mates.
Basically, we need to let them experiment more with the ball and
their body movements on their own with a little interaction from
their parents and/or Fun Leader(s).
Players
cannot wear any jewelry at all while participating (includes
earrings, necklaces, bracelets (except medical bracelets, etc.);
this is an insurance rule.
GET
INVOLVED!
MHYSA is
always looking for volunteers to help. Remember that the hard work
and dedication to your child's development and love for the sport
is all done through volunteer efforts. Please help us to continue
growing and building a strong organization with many offerings for
our members by taking part in these volunteer efforts. If you can
