Volunteers Needed
MHYSA needs volunteers badly right now. All people involved with MHYSA are volunteers and often have to put the league before their own family's events so the community has a soccer program for your children.

Please, if you have time, volunteer to help out. Coach. Help with training. Sell wearables at the Civic Center game fields on game days. All we are asking for is your time. Who knows, you might have fun! Contact the commissioner if you can help - 248-542-4759 or you can email us getinfo@mhysa.net

Memorial Day Parade
To participate in the Madison Heights Memorial Day Parade, please meet in the K-mart parking lot by 9:00 am on Monday, May 26th. More details to follow.

The Madison Heights Youth Soccer Association (MHYSA) based in Madison Heights, MI has an opportunity for your company to support a youth soccer organization and increase your visibility in our community.

One hundred percent (100%) of your sponsorship will remain local for exclusive use by MHYSA. Your sponsorship will be used for lowering the cost of participant registration, soccer equipment, soccer camps, coaching clinics, club administration, field development and maintenance.

FYI: When will we know practice and game times?
Our Registrar and Commissoner are hard at work putting together teams. Because registration is still open teams are not finalzed. Until teams are finalized we cannot build a schedule. Also, without teams being finalized we can't give rosters to coaches to call parents to let them know when they have practice.

NOTE: Coaches determine practice times and locations. Please be patient and understand that the wheels are in motion. The Spring session typically begins mid/late April and ends in early June.

Don't Litter
It happens after every game every season, please pick up after yourself after your games. MHYSA will NOT be holding on to water bottles, sweat shirts, jackets. These things will be thrown out. Please don't leave snack wrappers, juice boxes, empty water cans.

Coaches wanted!!!
MHYSA is always looking for parents to get involved. So are your kids! If you want to coach you need to register for your Risk Management card here. For new registrants there can be up to a 30-day delay. So please sing up today. There is a $10 fee that, once approved, MHYSA will reimburse you for. You will be asked for your social security number to perform this background check. Children's safety is priority number one not only to Madison Heights Youth soccer but also the state and national soccer organizations.

The MSYSA (Michigan State Youth Soccer Association) Risk Management system will only certify adults who are 18+ years old. If you are not at least 18 years of age on the day you apply, your application will not be processed and the $10 application fee will not be refunded.

MHYSA is for the betterment of the player as well as the parents. Kudda.com is a great resource for training materials that coaches can implement at home as well as players and parents to practice on their own at home. Please follow the link to start practicing today.

Get involved!!!
MHYSA is a parent run organization that is always in need of volunteers. We need volunteers for coaching and assistant coaching. Open board positions also in need of volunteers include Vice President, Public Relations and Division Managers. The only way to make us better is to help us out.
